Have you experience slowing down your bandwidth while you using a web browsers? For sure, you also experiencing on it. I wanna share in to you tweaking on how to speed up your web browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Flock, Internet Explorer and Opera.

For Mozilla Firefox & Flock Users:

  1. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit enter then navigate this following below:

    network.http.pipelining
    network.http.proxy.pipelining

Set this to true by double clicking them

  2. Navigate and search for this

    network.http.pipelining. maxrequests

Set it to some number like 100-600 by double clicking on it.

  3. Right click anywhere in the about:config window and select > New > Integer then name it as “nglayout.initialpaint.delay

Set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it
    recieves.

  4. Almost Done already… :-)

For Internet Explorer Users:

  1. Click Start Menu > Run
  2. Type regedit and hit enter
  3. Browse folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\m*cro$oft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
  4. Right click at windows right > New > DWORD
  5. Type MaxConnectionsPerSe rver > u can set value (the more higher the no., the more good speed u get, eg : 1000) by right clicking on
    MaxConnectionPerServer >Modify.
  6. Create another DWORD >type MaxConnectionsPer1_ 0Server
  7. Then put a high value as mentioned above
  8. Then,Restart Internet Explorer… :-)

For Opera Users:

  1. Go to Tools > Preferences (Ctrl+F12)
  2. Click Advanced then select Network and set Max connections to a server to 16, and Max total connections to 20.
  3. Users of old computers should probably turn javascript off by default unless a page requires it. This is one of the biggest slowdowns for web page loading, since Java, and Javascript can be very complex, and take a long time to load. Remember F12 toggles these settings easily and quickly.
  4. Put the cache on a drive different to the one your operating system is installed and keep the drives well defragmented. A good idea is to put the cache directory on a flash disk. To put the cache somewhere else, add the following line to the [User Prefs] section of opera6.ini:

    Cache Directory4=your\path\here
You can find the opera6.ini file in C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile.

  5. Favicons will use resources, if you need absolutely minimal resource usage, turn them off. You can do this by going to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Browsing and selecting Show no icons under the Page icons section.
  6. Use standard windows skin, and disable special effects, which will save a few CPU cycles.
