Have you experience slowing down your bandwidth while you using a web browsers? For sure, you also experiencing on it. I wanna share in to you tweaking on how to speed up your web browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Flock, Internet Explorer and Opera.
For Mozilla Firefox & Flock Users:
- Type “
about:config” into the address bar and hit enter then navigate this following below:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipeliningSet this to true by double clicking them
- Navigate and search for this
network.http.pipelining. maxrequests
Set it to some number like 100-600 by double clicking on it.
- Right click anywhere in the
about:configwindow and select > New > Integer then name it as “nglayout.initialpaint.delay”Set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it
recieves. - Almost Done already…
For Internet Explorer Users:
- Click Start Menu > Run
- Type regedit and hit enter
- Browse folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\m*cro$oft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
- Right click at windows right > New > DWORD
- Type MaxConnectionsPerSe rver > u can set value (the more higher the no., the more good speed u get, eg : 1000) by right clicking on
MaxConnectionPerServer >Modify. - Create another DWORD >type MaxConnectionsPer1_ 0Server
- Then put a high value as mentioned above
- Then,Restart Internet Explorer…
For Opera Users:
- Go to Tools > Preferences (Ctrl+F12)
- Click Advanced then select Network and set Max connections to a server to 16, and Max total connections to 20.
- Users of old computers should probably turn javascript off by default unless a page requires it. This is one of the biggest slowdowns for web page loading, since Java, and Javascript can be very complex, and take a long time to load. Remember F12 toggles these settings easily and quickly.
- Put the cache on a drive different to the one your operating system is installed and keep the drives well defragmented. A good idea is to put the cache directory on a flash disk. To put the cache somewhere else, add the following line to the [User Prefs] section of opera6.ini:
Cache Directory4=your\path\here
You can find the opera6.ini file in C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile. - Favicons will use resources, if you need absolutely minimal resource usage, turn them off. You can do this by going to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Browsing and selecting Show no icons under the Page icons section.
- Use standard windows skin, and disable special effects, which will save a few CPU cycles.
